Big shoes

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

I am 13 weeks old today. Dad says my collar is getting a little snug, so he tried this other one on me (see pics below). It belonged to this other dog that was here before named Java. It’s a little bit big. Not sure but maybe that’s what Dr. Eileen meant about me having big shoes to fill. The next time I see her, I will have to explain the difference between collars and shoes:

Collar: you wear it around your neck and Mom and Dad use it to grab me when I’m running around acting crazy.

Shoes: they are fun to grab and run with and to chew, but be prepared for yelling.

A big day

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

In addition to going to see Dr Eileen yesterday, I also went to the pet store and to my Gramma’s house. The pet store was crazy; there were toys everywhere and all kinds of snacks. We got some snacks and an orange thingy that Dad can throw for me. Another dog (it wasn’t me!) made a mess on the floor. The pet store lady was pissed.

Gramma gave me water in her kitchen, and I spilled it all over the floor, but she didn’t get mad at me. Gramma likes me I think, though she keeps saying I should have been named Max. My dane dad’s name is Max; here’s his picture.

I was pooped by the time I got home; I went out in the yard and did my business and then had dinner (cool, kibble again!) and then I went in and slept the whole evening.

I saw Dr. Eileen today

I went to see Dr. Eileen today; she poked me and stuff, but she said I was a pretty boy, so it was okay. Her friend Natalie gave me snacks and said I was a moose. They said I was 37.5 lbs today. I love Dr. Eileen.
